Gamer’s Graveyard: Stuntman

by Clovenhoof//404

If you read my article on Syphon Filter, you should have a good grasp on what Gamer’s Graveyard is all about. If not, let me give you a quick rundown; Gamer’s Graveyard is a series about old game franchises that have been either discontinued or not been shown so much love recently.

Let’s jump right in this week with a game that is near and dear to my heart, Stuntman.

Why I Hate Retro

by Incontrol88

As bleak as it may look at times, the prospect of the future of gaming excites me. I get the warm and tinglies in the pit of my stomach when I see our pastime evolving from something to do in-between bowling matches or in the lobby of movie theaters to an entertainment medium where new releases are anticipated as hotly as their cinematic kin. So when I hear so-called gaming enthusiasts talking about things like “the importance of pong” and how relevant 8-Bit still is, the warm, tingling sensation moves substantially lower and I have to apply an ointment for a while.

Uh-Oh. I feel an outbreak coming on.

Fixing Dominion: Hunting for Success in Failure

by sniper430

Dominion, the game mode that was supposed to add a brand new and interesting facet to the already vastly popular League of Legends, lived a short life in the limelight. Right now, Dominion for myself and most other League players is a quick time killer that you don’t put your usual amount of skill and effort into.

How long has this splash been up? A year? >.>

I’d like this to change.  I want an interesting, competitive game mode that’s just as much fun to play as Summoner’s Rift.  This can be done by changing a variety of aspects of Dominion, including Fog of War, the point capture times, boots, quests, summoner spells, and ranked play. It’s a long list, yeah, but it all needs to be done.  Players deserve another well polished game mode to play.  Read on to find out more.

Corsair’s Killer Combo

The gorgeous Vengeance K60 Gaming Keyboard and the Vengeance M60 Gaming Mouse may quite possibly be the sickest headshot duo to hit the shelves since Bonnie and Clyde action figures.

Pokémon used Bushido! It’s Super Effective!

by steampunkphreak

I always enjoy Pokémon, sometimes I’ll just have the urge to either pick up a game or start a new one. But sometimes I do wish that something new would come to the formula. I’ve thought up different ideas or even backdrops to make a Pokémon game ”feel” different. Well now Nintendo and Tecmo Koei have done it with “Pokémon: Conquest!” A strategy game featuring samurai with Pokémon taking over different kingdoms!

You read that right, now start the review!

Oshawott is for badasses…dawg.

Dear EVE: What Can DUST 514 Do For You?

by Trauma

What I am currently picturing is Sony’s Elite Bro-Team manning the front lines in hastily-crafted Keystone Light armor arguing about who pounded the most beers last night. It’s a little extreme, I know, but the potential is there.

Hooah!

Razer Naga Hex: Less Is More

by Trauma

The Razer Naga…a mere whisper of those words and I can hear nothing but “click, click, click,” for hours as we fight together under the blue and gold Alliance banner in the name of good King Varian Wyrnn, first of his name.
