Eric: “I’ve had this deck for about a month. I playtested it using proxies before that, and it was fun and effective enough so I bought it. I enjoy experimenting with unconventional cards, and affinity isn’t as tight of a list as many other Legacy decks are, so there’s room for fiddling. Keep Watch, for example, is a card I’ve never seen played in any Legacy deck. It’s possible there’s a reason for that, but it’s also possible the card is underrated. The one time I cast it in the tournament it drew me 6 cards (regrettably they were almost all lands so I lost the match). It is somewhat inconsistent though, so it may or may not stay in the deck, but I certainly think it’s worth trying out. I’ve taken this deck to two other local Legacy tournaments so far. I made the top eight in one of them, and made the top four in the other.”
